The controversy was sparked by a sensational claim from journalist Floriane Tardif, who shared a photograph of a woman who allegedly disrupted the peace of the presidential family. According to her account, the woman in question is the actress Farahani — a rather striking figure!

Tardif claims that Brigitte Macron allegedly discovered her husband’s private correspondence with the actress. Following this, rumour has it that a serious row broke out between husband and wife, verging on a heated confrontation. People immediately recalled a previous incident on a plane, when France’s First Lady reacted emotionally to her husband’s behaviour.
Now, sarcastic internet users are trying to link that incident specifically to this correspondence. Just a coincidence?
