A Lifelong Animal Protection Charity (LAP) volunteer in Hong Kong unexpectedly stumbled upon a kitten, no older than 3 weeks old, while going about her business.
“This elderly lady has helped many kittens and adult cats – abandoned, unwanted, unwanted or simply bored by someone. The red-haired kitten we’ve come to call Zodiac was found in a back alley, where a sure death awaited him alone,” says one LAP activist.
As the woman carried the kitten to the shelter, she noticed that he was not himself with fear. But gentle stroking relaxed the baby, made him purr and look at people with trust.
It soon became clear that Zodiac was not like the others. His face looked unusual: a big nose, a split lip, and atypically few teeth.
“Because of these features, he gets a little dirty when he eats, but it doesn’t make him uncomfortable anymore.”
As Zodiac grows up, he becomes more and more tame and inclined to purr. He is currently in a holding facility waiting for his dream owner.
