It is surprising that quite a few Siamese twins are born nowadays, but not all of them have the opportunity to undergo separation surgery. Some of them die either immediately after birth or a couple of years later, as they are unable to develop normally. Only in extremely rare cases do children manage to grow up and live to adulthood, as our heroes did. However, this case was more serious, as the girls literally shared one brain between them, and the doctors had no idea how long they would be able to live. They did not make their parents very happy, as complications could arise at any moment.
Surprisingly, the girls survived and even learned to stand on their feet. Their parents fully supported them, saying that they would accept the girls as they were. Many people were outraged that children with such complications should not be born in the first place, as they are of no use and suffer until the end of their lives. A little later, it became known that they had a shared thalamus, and if it were damaged, neither of the girls would be able to perceive any information or develop in life.
Now the girls feel great and have no complaints, as their parents continue to take care of them. They live in a small Canadian province, where they feel comfortable and have no plans to move anywhere in the future. It seems that at the moment, the girls have big plans for the future and are confidently moving towards them. At the moment, the girls are taking advantage of their amazing ability, as they can understand each other perfectly, see the same things, and even taste the food that one of the girls is eating. Doctors have been trying for a long time to figure out how they manage to even recognise each other’s thoughts, but they have not come to any conclusions. To this day, the girls visit doctors quite often, who systematically perform various tests and check that everything is in order with their health.
Scientists find this phenomenon strange, so they say they will continue to observe the girls until they reach old age, if they manage to live that long. Some people believe that such Siamese twins are quite useful to society, while others say that they should not be allowed out in public because their appearance will only frighten people. Moreover, many internet users are extremely interested in what these girls are going to do in life, because it seems that they are incapable of doing any work and will have to live off their parents until old age.
The girls also have serious problems walking, because at any moment they could fall on flat ground, so both of them have to walk with a cane. It is really hard for their parents to see their daughters in this condition, but they try to cheer them up so that the Siamese twins do not lose heart, because everyone has different problems in life that they need to learn to cope with.
The sisters enjoy spending time together and don’t worry about anything in life, because they know that they have relatives who would never abandon them in difficult times and would always lend a helping hand.
