Half a century ago they met each other and since then they have been going through life hand in hand without parting. Over the years they have given birth to three children and now have 4 grandchildren. On their big day, they decided to recreate their wedding pictures. They held a photo shoot in their wedding outfits.
Looking at some of the pictures, it’s hard to tell that they have been together for so many years. At times it seems like they just got married. They are so happy that it’s hard to put it into words.
During half a century of married life, all sorts of things have happened between them. There have been many happy moments, like having children, and there have been trials. But at the same time in their house reigned love and joyful laughter.
The idea to recreate the photo shoot belongs to a woman. Her husband supported her immediately. Caroline thought her wedding dress would no longer fit her. How wrong she was.
On the day of the ceremony, the husband carefully watched the transformation of his wife. The dress shrank a little, but Caroline was still able to put it on, which she was very proud of.
The man was also able to fit into his suit. It was also a little tight on him, but it reminded him of the happy moments of the day.
They got a lot of great shots. There were some serious shots and some funny ones. The man made his beloved laugh on purpose, so that she laughed at an unexpected moment.
Some of their shots turned out like newlyweds. Some of them showed that they are a couple who have been living side-by-side for decades.
All the pictures were heartwarming. They smelled warmth, tenderness, love and laughter.
Revisiting the photos Caroline said she never thought she would be able to wear a wedding dress. Now she felt twenty-five years old again. Her husband put his arm around her shoulders and said that she would always be the same for him as she was on her wedding day.
