A teenager sitting with his feet up on a subway seat pretended not to notice an elderly man who entered. Tom had to draw the young boor’s attention to himself….
The upbringing of children is, of course, the business of their parents. If dad or mom silently look at how their child is insolent with others, nothing good comes of it, the insolence will only increase, and the antics of children with age becomes more and more vivid.
Of course, this does not apply to all teenagers and in no way I want to say that only this age group can cause problems to strangers while in public places.
Just the other day I witnessed an interesting incident in a subway car that caused laughter and encouraging comments from half the car.
On one of the seats there was a mom with her twelve or thirteen year old son. The son was enthusiastically playing with his phone, and then, either accidentally or deliberately, suddenly lay down on the seat with his legs stretched out and continued to poke his fingers into the screen. Mom turned her head, but said nothing, preferring to immediately focus her gaze into the subway diagram. The car was half-empty, but lo and behold, after a couple of stops, quite a few passengers got on.
One of them, an obese elderly man, stood in front of a stretched-out teenager, showing that he didn’t mind sitting down at all. The boy threw a fleeting glance at him and continued his occupation in the virtual world. The young impudent’s mother also turned away from the man. And he, seeing this state of affairs, sighed, and sat down on the player’s feet.
The weight of the man’s body must have made the teenager feel uncomfortable, he cried out, and the passenger took out his phone and calmly started typing a message on it.
The mom who turned away did not immediately react to the sounds nearby, but when she turned around and saw the man sitting on her son’s legs, she rounded her eyes and yelled that he was crazy.
The guy still could not get free from the heavy body tightly pressed against him and began to twitch. Then the man stood up and let the captive pull his legs out.
It was noticeable that the teenager’s legs were stiff, because he did not immediately lean on them with confidence. The mother was still yelling something, and the man put on his headphones and started smiling at the music on.
The passengers watching this scene cheered up. Their sympathies were clearly not on the side of the mom and her son…..
