In 1967, the star who conquered the whole world was born – Julia Roberts. Her hometown is Smyrna (Georgia). She was the youngest in her family. Julia’s father was also quite a creative person. He was involved in acting and wrote poetry.
Her mother was also an actress. Julia Roberts’ parents gave lessons at the acting school for children. Therefore, there is nothing to be surprised that all three children followed the stage path of their parents.
At the time of the birth of the third child, the family lived in total poverty. If they were not helped by Coretta Scott King, things would have been quite bad. Her children were students of the Roberts acting studio. It was she who saved them in a very difficult financial situation.
A few years later (1971), Julia’s mother divorced her husband for another man. Eric, the actress’s brother, stayed to live with his father. Her mother married for the second time to her colleague. He was the theatre critic M. Motes.
