They were born more than a decade apart, but these siblings have one amazing thing in common.

Meet Asel and Kamila, incredibly unique siblings who have become sought-after models:
Asel is the oldest of the siblings, aged 14. Her mother, Ayman Sarkitova, says she was stunned when she was born albino.
‘When I gave birth to my eldest, our genetics were not yet so developed,’ she told the Daily Mail. ‘It’s only developed now. The doctors were shocked.’
Imagine their surprise when 12 years later Camila was born with the same condition.
It’s an incredible, mind-boggling sight to see these two siblings together, so they teamed up and became a modelling duo.
Asel has been modelling since she was 10, but with her two-year-old sister she has become even more in demand. The couple has more than 33,000 followers on Instagram.
While albinism has led them to great success, it’s not always easy. The condition has also been linked to medical conditions such as sensitivity to sunlight.
‘If I go outside during the day, I make sure to apply sunscreen, wear clothes to protect my skin, wear a hat or use an umbrella,’ says Asel.
‘In the evening, when the sun is almost gone, it’s much easier for me.’
But no matter what ups and downs life presents them with, they will always be there for each other.
The condition is so rare that albino people can feel alone, but these two sisters are lucky to always have a family member like them.
And we hope their success as models will shed light on the issue of albinism and show how uniquely beautiful albino people can be.
‘A lot of people don’t know who albinos are,’ says Asel.
