Now he’s just an old man: What the actor who played the leader in ‘The Mummy’ looks like today

Many may remember the Medjai leader from the famous film ‘The Mummy.’ The Israeli actor, who gained worldwide fame thanks to this role, now looks completely different.

Twenty-four years after the film’s release, it is difficult to recognise the striking brunette in 52-year-old Oded Fehr. In recent photographs, he appears before viewers with completely grey hair, which is certainly surprising.

You have to agree that it is difficult to find any resemblance to the young and attractive character who won over audiences in the film.

Fans were quick to share their thoughts: ‘Everything changes over the years,’ they wrote in the comments. Among the reviews, one can find wishes for the actor’s health and long life, as well as acknowledgements that the film remains a favourite.

Some noted that, despite his age, Oded still retains his attractiveness, and that his grey hair, on the contrary, gives him a special charm. Others immediately recalled his legendary role and could not help but agree with how wonderfully he portrayed the warrior Majeai.
