Let everyone have a home.
Nika, a sheepdog with a wounded paw, was picked up and taken to a vet clinic. But the people who found her didn’t have money for treatment and the clinic refused to do it for free. That’s why the dog ended up on the street again.
Someone saw her on the snow-covered ground, took a photo, and shared it on social media. Thanks to this, Nika was seen by volunteers, taken to another vet and threw a call for help on social media to raise money.
The treatment was successful, and soon the pet had a new family. There she began a new life with the new name Marlene. True, at first she had to make friends with eight cats who were against such a roommate.
But Marlene was so friendly, that the fluffy cats accepted her presence.
The dog also had to get used to the street. The owners decided that the dog must have been chained up all the time, because she behaved very fearfully in the yard. She walked very little and ran into the house at the slightest discomfort.
But time has passed, and now Marlene is a happy dog, giving love and affection to her family.
