Meghan and Harry shared some rare family photos at Easter — Archie and Lilibet have grown up noticeably.

Meghan Markle has shared some rare glimpses of her family’s Easter celebrations with her fans, posting photos and videos capturing this special day spent with her husband, Prince Harry, and their children.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated the holiday in California with their six-year-old son Archie and four-year-old daughter Lilibet, organising a quiet family celebration away from the spotlight. The couple continue to take a low-key approach to raising their children, so posts like these offer only a brief glimpse into their private lives.

In the published photos, Archie and Lilibet are seen running across the grass with Easter baskets, eagerly searching for hidden eggs. Lilibet added to the festive atmosphere by appearing with cute bunny ears on her head.

In other videos, the brother and sister walk along a stone path in the garden, holding baskets filled with sweets and small gifts, whilst the family dog runs alongside them.

Lilibet has grown noticeably and already looks like a proper little lady. In one of the clips, Harry gently holds his daughter in his arms: she is wearing a pink dress with a floral pattern, standing barefoot on the grass, her long auburn hair shining beautifully in the sun.

Archie has also shown his creative side — he decorated Easter eggs with bright stripes, adding even more cosiness, fun and childlike imagination to the festivities.

Meghan also showed off her pet chickens, who were treated to a festive feast of their own – a fresh salad. This little detail added even more warmth and charm to the whole post. She captioned the post simply: ‘Happy Easter’.

Since stepping back from their royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan have focused on raising their children away from the public eye and are very careful about what exactly they are willing to share with the public. The Easter post offered a rare glimpse into their family life, whilst maintaining the intimacy and homely atmosphere they so cherish.

Whilst Meghan and Harry celebrated the holiday in California, the British royal family attended an Easter service at St George’s Chapel — the very place where Meghan and Harry’s wedding took place in May 2018. It is noteworthy that Meghan herself has never attended the royal family’s Easter service.
