Thirteen years ago, as a student, Eima and her friends went on an ordinary picnic. Next to the recreation ground there was an exciting ziplane ride – a cable suspended rappel through a picturesque mountain gorge.
Of course, the students could not pass by such entertainment and lined up at the ride instructor. When it was Eima’s turn, she started from the platform without any doubt, but in the middle of the ride, when the load on the cable is particularly strong, the structure could not withstand, and the girl flew into the abyss …

The fall did not end badly, Eima landed quite well, but she hurt her leg badly. She was quickly evacuated to the hospital, but after surgery on her leg it turned out that the fall in the wound got one of the most dangerous bacteria for the body, which quickly multiplies and leads to tissue necrosis.
After the first operation, the girl needed ten more until her life was no longer in danger. Unfortunately, she lost all four limbs, survived several skin grafts, but did not give up morally, showing a truly courageous character.
She is now finishing her PhD in psychology and is actively helping amputees.
Eima’s example can’t help but admire and inspire both people with disabilities and those who don’t know what it’s like. We wish her continued success and happiness!
