Today, her three children are all grown up. Julia’s daughter in particular has been getting a lot of attention in recent years.
This is probably not that strange – considering that the young lady is starting to resemble her famous mum.
These days, most celebrities have social media accounts, interacting with fans on a daily basis and sharing photos of themselves and their family. But Julia Roberts, who has been called one of the biggest film stars in history, hasn’t jumped on that train yet.
She has a Twitter account registered in her name that has over 540,000 followers, but she herself has not posted once.
Then Facebook? No, she’s not active there either.
“I also think I’m lucky because… the weird celebrity culture and the internet age – I’m kind of too old for this silly mess that’s going on. I’m happy about that. It’s helped that I’m definitely at a certain age,” she said.
The only social media platform where Roberts shares news is her Instagram page, but even there she rarely posts photos of her family.
No, Roberts hasn’t shared photos of her children at all over the years, preferring to keep them out of the public eye.
“We try to keep our kids safe. We just want to live our family life and not interfere with it,” the actress told USA Today in 2013.

Over the years, Julia has dated several famous actors, including Benjamin Bratt and Kiefer Sutherland. She was once dubbed America’s sweetheart, with many men queuing up behind her.

At the height of her career, Julia began dating singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett. The singer couldn’t believe his luck and spontaneously agreed to marry the actress. However, due to the pressure they were under, the marriage did not last long.
In fact, the couple tied the knot in 1993 and divorced by 1995.
Julia Roberts’ husband
Five years later, the ‘Pretty Woman’ actress has found the love of her life behind the camera. In 2000, she met cameraman Daniel Moder on the set of the film The Mexican. They later got married in 2002.
In 2004, the couple had twins Hazel and Finneus.
Three years later, they had another son, Henry.
According to Roberts, her life changed completely when she became a wife and mother. When she was younger, Julia was ‘a little selfish girl running around and making films.’
Her husband changed that.
“I met Danny … found my man. When I think about what makes my life my life, makes sense and just shines inside of me, it’s him. Everything happened for me because of him,” Julia told Harper’s Bazaar.
Over the years, Julia and Danny have worked on several films together. This strengthened their relationship and the couple has been happily married for 20 years now. Last year, Julia celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary by posting a rare photo of her with her husband on Instagram.
“19 years. Just getting started!” – she wrote.
Julia Roberts’ children
Today Julia is a proud mum to her twins, daughter Hazel and son Finney, as well as her youngest child Henry.
The “Notting Hill” star is still one of the most famous faces in the world, but Julia describes herself as a regular football mum and housewife. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she said:
‘If I wasn’t here today, I’d be standing in the car lane driving my kids to school.’
As mentioned, Julia gave birth to her twins in November 2004. Son Henry was born in June 2007. Although she considers her children to be her greatest achievement in life, parenting has not always been easy for Julia and her husband.
‘One night I was trying to carry someone to bed and it was just… okay, you have to get on your feet and sleepwalk because I just can’t get up the stairs,’ she joked in an Instyle interview.
As previously mentioned, Julia tries to keep her children out of the spotlight. But the multi-award winning actress sometimes speaks openly about her role as a mother. She also revealed that her children look a lot like her and their father, Danny.
‘And the thing is, we have these three human beings that totally reflect our affection for each other,’ she said.
To spend more time alone with her children and perhaps to avoid the Hollywood paparazzi, Roberts moved out of busy Los Angeles and settled in San Francisco, in a more diverse neighbourhood.
She did this to be away from the spotlight and to raise her children in a more relaxed environment. Speaking to Closer Weekly, a friend of Julia’s said she ‘wanted her kids to have the experience of living in a city with a different energy and atmosphere.’
‘Her kids are not the kids of film stars in San Francisco where no one cares who your mum is,’ the insider added.
As her kids have grown up, keeping them out of the spotlight has become increasingly difficult. Or maybe it’s just that Julia has a different perspective.
On their birthday on 17 November 2021, Hazel and Finneus received loving birthday greetings from their mother, who posted a beautiful retro photo. Danny also shared a sweet birthday greeting for the children.
Hazel Moder
Hazel is Julia’s only daughter and for a long time little was known about her. But recently, more and more photos of Hazel have been made public and many people are surprised at how similar mother and daughter look.
Except for Hazel’s blonde hair, she is an exact copy of her mother, right?
Not only that, but Hazel seems to have inherited her mother’s heart of gold. Julia once revealed that Hazel, who was 12 at the time, decided to cut off her hair to donate it to Wigs for Kids.
‘It’s a big deal for a girl who is about to turn 13 and has cascading blonde hair that is often commented on,’ Julia told InStyle in a 2017 interview.
“But she’s so good and brave. She sees it as something different.”
In 2021, Hazel gained attention when the stunning blonde made her red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Hazel attended the festival alongside her father, who was there to present his film Flag Day.
According to Etonline, 16-year-old Hazel wore Mary Janes shoes and a ‘90s style yellow lace shirt dress with butterscotch-coloured buttons’.
