Grease is a musical we are all familiar with. Even if you haven’t seen it, you may know some of the songs from this cult hit of the 1970s.
When teenage girls around the world saw young Danny Zuko in his leather jacket, many of their hearts skipped a beat.
It was the summer of 1978 when the beloved film was released. How could we forget Danny falling in love with the very sweet Sandy Olsson from Australia, surrounded by pink ladies and serious dance moves?
When the summer ended, Sandy returned to Australia, and they didn’t think they would ever meet again… until Sandy showed up at a football game and announced that she was a new student at his school!

Like the scoundrel he was, he pretended that their summer romance never happened and acted cool, but soon he couldn’t resist the stunning Sandy.
It seems like just yesterday that I watched this film, and the songs (and dance moves) are still fresh in my memory. And it seems I’m not the only one.
John Travolta, who played Danny all these years, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Grease.
Travolta shared how one of the dances from Grease came about. ‘I grew up on all these dance innovations,’ he told Fallon.
In Grease, they needed a step for ‘You’re the One That I Want’ at the end. I said, “We did the four corners, why don’t we do that?”, and the choreographer said, ‘Show me that.
Ellon was intrigued, and when the audience cheered approvingly, he asked Travolta if he would show it to him.
The music from Grease began to play, and hearts began to flutter once again.
It was time for John Travolta to show everyone that he was still in top form, and he did not disappoint his fans.
Watch the video below to see John Travolta show everyone the moves we all remember.
What a man! I love watching everything related to him! Share with us if you think John Travolta still has it!
