One day a tiny kitten fell underground. The rescue operation lasted around two hours. The fireman manages to get to the kitten and takes it out of the trap.
A kitten the size of a man’s palm squeaked in fear. And the fireman himself was so moved that he couldn’t hold back tears. «It makes me want to cry, can you believe it?» says the fireman and hugs his colleague.
The video of the kitten rescue went viral on Facebook and moved users to tears. «A real hero», «How cute, he cried because he saved the kitten», «I was so moved by the reaction of the firefighter that I already cried», «That’s how good guys work in the fire service», were the comments on the video from social media users.
Matteo himself says he isn’t ashamed at all that his emotions have been seen around the world. «It was not a weakness, but a joy that I was able to save the life of a small animal,» confessed the firefighter.
