In Iraq, girls are being ‘rescued’ from immorality in a very strange way

Recently, an event occurred in Iraq to which it is impossible to react without shock. A child, a girl aged nine, was given in marriage to a thirty-five-year-old man.

The most amazing thing is that everything happened according to Iraqi law. Not so long ago they had two lowered the possible age of marriage – from eighteen to nine, which was taken advantage of by the enterprising parents of the ‘bride’.

Of course, now the girl’s upbringing will be done not by her parents, but by her husband and his newly minted relatives, and the parents will be pleased to count the rich ransom for their little girl, who has not yet played with dolls.

In response to the outrage of the world community at this barbaric marriage, the Iraqi parliamentarians perplexedly waved their hands, saying that there is nothing wrong with such an early marriage, it saves girls from immorality at a later age.

Of course, the current trends in Western society, with their sex change and other perversions, do not represent anything good either, but to encourage, literally, paedophilia at the legislative level is too much.
