Ukrainian athletes won three gold medals at the Olympic Games in Paris.
The Olympic champions were Yaroslava Maguchikh in high jump, Oleksandr Khizhnyak in boxing, and the team of our swordswomen led by Olga Kharlan. The willful victory of our sabre fencers over the team from South Korea made an unforgettable impression on the fans of this sport.
Our charming champions won the hearts of world celebrities. Thus, at the end of the awarding ceremony the star of ‘John Wick’, the famous Canadian actor Keanu Reeves came up to the Ukrainians. The 58-year-old artist congratulated the winners and made a joint photo with the girls from the Ukrainian team.
