Sofia Vergara celebrated her 51st birthday with her ‘best friends’ in Italy and shared a photo on Instagram showing a waterscape and her face captured without make-up and with a flawless expression.
The former CoverGirl model posted a series of snaps on Instagram during her birthday trip to Italy.
She lit fireworks like candles, dined with friends and was serenaded at an exclusive restaurant.
Vergara is currently celebrating her 51st birthday with her best friends on the island of Capri in Italy.
Her fans were disappointed after noticing that her husband, Joe Manganiello, was absent from the festivities.

Page Six has exclusively learnt that Sofia Vergara and her husband Joe Manganiello are divorcing after seven years of marriage.
The couple said in a statement, ‘We have made the difficult decision to divorce.
As two people who love each other and care deeply for each other, we ask that our privacy be respected during this time as we go through this new phase.’
The ‘Modern Family’ beauty is currently celebrating her 51st birthday in Italy with friends, but without Manganiello and without her engagement ring.
The source added: ‘Sofia and Joe have been estranged for some time and are contemplating their future.’
Last month, Vergara visited Manganiello, 46, on the set of his new film ‘Nonnas’ with Vince Vaughn in Hoboken, New Jersey.
A judge on the popular NBC show ‘America’s Got Talent,’ Vergara is currently holidaying in Capri with her closest girlfriends and has been sharing seductive snaps on Instagram.
Fans on Instagram took notice of Manganiello’s absence, to which Sofia Vergara responded in a post with the caption, ‘If life gives you lemons, come to Italy to squeeze them.’
The ‘Modern Family’ actress seems to be enjoying life despite the breakup.
One commenter wrote: ‘Anyone else wondering where Joe is?’ while another added: ‘I keep wondering where her husband has disappeared to as he’s not in any photos or videos.’
Manganiello’s Instagram post, in which he wished his wife a happy birthday with a short message in Spanish: ‘¡Feliz Cumpleaños Sofa!’ was equally controversial.
Another source said:
‘At the beginning of Sofia’s big birthday trip, her loved ones justified Joe’s absence by saying he was filming on the East Coast.
But that excuse quickly became invalid when the writers‘ strike started, and certainly when the actors’ strike was announced, he could have got on the first plane… but apparently he didn’t.’
‘So now nobody pretends like it’s not over anymore. It’s over. It’s resolved.’
Sofia Vergara’s wedding was attended by her ‘Modern Family’ co-stars Ariel Winter, Ed O’Neil, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen, Sarah Hyland and Ty Burrell, as well as Joe Manganiello’s ‘True Blood’ colleagues Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.
The wedding took place in November 2015 in Palm Beach, Florida.
Channing Tatum and Reese Witherspoon were also among the guests.
Vergara, who has a 31-year-old son named Manolo from her first marriage to Joe Gonzalez, met Manganiello at a dinner hosted by the White House Correspondents’ Association in 2014.
At the time, she was engaged to businessman Nick Loeb, whom she met through her former colleague on the series, Ferguson.
After the actress’ relationship with Loeb broke up, Manganiello immediately messaged her and asked for her phone number.
The ‘Magic Mike XXL’ star revealed in an interview for People magazine in 2020:
‘I realised very quickly that I could trust her and she also realised very quickly that she could trust me.
We’re both people who know how to put our partner’s needs before our own.’
