Rodrigo was born on 30 July 1983 in São Paulo, Brazil, to a Brazilian mother and a British father of Portuguese descent. His family was fairly well-off: his father ran a successful agricultural business, which eventually grew into a network of supermarkets, estate agencies and retail premises for rent. From childhood, Rodrigo was drawn to dolls, and he also loved dressing up as a girl. His parents were relaxed about this, and his father would often give him Barbie dolls.
As a teenager, Rodrigo was diagnosed with gynaecomastia — a condition in which breast tissue enlarges due to a hormonal imbalance. At the age of 17, he underwent his first operation, which was medically necessary to remove the developed breast tissue. Family friends recalled that Rodrigo grew up as a shy and withdrawn child, which often made him the target of ridicule at school. When left alone, he would spend long periods watching television, being particularly fascinated by cartoons featuring Disney princesses and doll-like characters. Gradually, an ideal image took shape in his imagination, which later became the main guide for his future transformations.
Rodrigo Alves received a substantial inheritance from his paternal grandparents, which enabled him to continue with cosmetic surgery following his first procedure. Over time, the number of procedures far exceeded fifty, and some sources claim that he underwent more than a hundred in total. After finishing school, Rodrigo moved to London, where he studied public relations at the London College of Communication.
His main dream was to become a ‘living Ken’. To achieve this, he underwent numerous procedures: a facelift, a brow lift, rhinoplasty, silicone implants to mimic muscles, removal of his lower ribs for a slimmer waist, and many other operations. Furthermore, Rodrigo was prone to weight gain but disliked exercise, so he repeatedly resorted to liposuction.

Today, 40-year-old Jessica Alves openly tells the world that she is happy, loved and even plans to become a mother through surrogacy.
