Carol Vorderman reveals the secrets to her great shape

On the Table Manners podcast, Carol Vorderman revealed she hasn’t stood on the scales for 24 years, while sharing the principles that help her maintain her ideal figure.

The former Countdown presenter, now 62, admitted that in 1999 she went on a 28-day detox diet, which excluded meat, wheat, dairy and sugar, after she put on a bit of weight. Since that time, Carol has no longer used a scale.

She also noted that she doesn’t cook at home, preferring to eat mostly vegetables and low-calorie snacks. Her fridge is always stocked with plenty of fresh vegetables, coleslaw, fish, turmeric, fruit, and Greek yoghurt and cottage cheese.

Physical activity has an important place in her life, which is also one of the main factors in maintaining her health. In addition to this, Carol mentioned that star Jennifer Lopez at the age of 53 is also an example of a healthy lifestyle and can serve as an inspiration.
