Every nation has not only its own traditions, but also certain facial features. And when a child is born different, completely unlike its parents, society begins to criticise it and spread rumours. Naturally, a distrustful attitude immediately forms towards the child’s mother, who allegedly cheated on her husband.
A similar story happened to an Indian girl named Ganatra Pooja.
She was born into an Indian family. When Rajesh and Hemaxi first saw their daughter, they were in complete shock. The fact is that the girl had a very strange appearance. Ganatra was born with fiery red hair, fair skin and green-blue eyes. This was not at all typical for an Indian family.
The girl retained her unusual features as she grew up, even though her parents thought that her appearance would change. When her mother and father noticed spots on her face during her teenage years, they immediately rushed to the doctor. They were afraid that it was some kind of terrible disease, but in fact, they were frightened by ordinary freckles. It is understandable that Pooja’s family had never seen them before.
Ganatra knew what bullying was from childhood. People were prejudiced against the girl. Not only that, but neighbours allowed themselves to say bad things about the girl’s mother right in front of her. Understandably, this upset the child.
The children did not want to play with Ganatra. Their parents told them that she had a promiscuous mother, so it was better to avoid communicating and playing with her.
However, the family did not break up, as the head of the family had no doubts about his wife’s integrity. Not only that, he did not want to take a paternity test, as he was sure that Ganatra was his daughter.
Her parents always supported Ganatra, as they understood how difficult her life was. Especially during her teenage years, the girl took all criticism to heart. Now she is 21 years old and has forgotten all her complexes. The girl is proud of her appearance and does not understand why she used to pay attention to the opinions of strangers.
