A photograph of a young boy quickly went viral after users began sharing it and challenging others to guess who the child had grown up to be.
In the picture, the boy is wearing a black button-up T-shirt with yellow checked panels on the front and is posing against a beige wall.
He has his hands folded in front of him and is looking straight at the camera with a curious and pensive expression on his face.
Judging by his clothes and the quality of the image, it is immediately clear that the photograph was taken quite some time ago. It is an old snapshot from a time when smartphones did not yet exist.
The boy in the photograph has fair hair and blue eyes.
Once the image began circulating widely online and appearing on various social media platforms, it didn’t take people long to realise: this boy has grown up to become one of the most recognisable figures of our time — US President Donald Trump.
“That’s definitely Donald Trump,” wrote one Facebook user.
Another added: “It looks like a photo of Donald J. Trump!”
“President Trump, his daughter Ivanka looks a lot like him,” noted a third commenter, whilst a fourth wrote simply: “Yes, that’s Trump!”
Another person suggested: “It looks like Trump!”
Donald Trump, known as a major businessman, returned to power for a second term after winning the election on 6 November 2024, where he defeated Vice-President Kamala Harris.
Trump officially began his second presidential term on 20 January 2025, becoming the 47th President of the United States. The inauguration ceremony took place inside the Rotunda of the US Capitol due to severe winter weather conditions.
As many of his policy decisions are controversial — including renaming the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America, imposing tariffs on almost every country in the world, plans to deport millions of people residing in the country illegally, and other measures — some users wrote that the boy in the photograph had grown into ‘the biggest monster this country has ever seen’.
However, there were also those who expressed their support for him, writing: ‘He is not a monster. I am with you.’
