A photo of the work of one of the stylists of a rather famous American beauty salon caused a lot of interest in the social network, where it was published by the manicurist.
In the photo was a brush of a woman of rather old age with a manicure performed. The nails were covered with pink varnish, but the client did not come to this choice immediately, at first she wanted a banal transparent varnish.
When asked by the stylist why she wanted such a mediocre manicure, the woman replied that she didn’t want her hands to be conspicuous because they looked rather unattractive due to her age.
In response, the stylist said that when looking at such hands, you involuntarily imagine all the things they have faced over the years, and it’s a whole story. The manicure master also told about her personal impressions of the client’s hands, about how these hands held the first bouquet, how the engagement ring was put on the ring finger, how the baby fell asleep in her arms, and many other things.
The client felt sympathetic and, agreeing with the stylist’s arguments, chose the colour pink.
