Hilary Swank is now associated with incredible bravery and talent, and that’s for good reason.

The first roles
Since Swank decided to focus specifically on acting, she had to drop out of high school. But soon she, of course, regretted it. The actress was not proud of the fact that she did not even have a high school education, which is the base.
Swank often felt different. It seemed to her that she was some kind of outsider and could not fit into society in any way. Sometimes it seemed that all teachers were against her – they didn’t understand or accept her.
The first roles in ‘The Pain of Growth’ and ‘Camp Wilder’ brought popularity. And the most important success awaited her after the release of the film ‘The Next Karate Kid’.
It was this film that gave her valuable experience and attracted attention to the new Hollywood actress.
Her next major role in the TV series ‘Beverly Hills’ also made a huge contribution to her career. She played one of the main roles in the 8th season. True, they entered the character only after 16 series.
Swank perceived this as a setback. She even thought about ending her career in the film industry, because she was very devastated.
However, instead of giving up, she began to work and develop even more.

After participating in the film ‘Guys do not cry’ everything changed fundamentally. She played a very intense, emotional and complex role, with which she coped 100%.
Despite the fact that the fee was not big enough, she got something better – an Oscar as Best Actress.
Now she does not dwell only on cinema, but also draws the public’s attention to various problems. This concerns the treatment of oncology and the protection of animals.
Swank admits that she is very fond of animals. It is they who perceive her as she is. She realises that people often betray, but animals do not. They were able to reach her heart and soul, and this no one else managed.

Swank has always cared about someone, but not about herself. She got that habit from her mum. This to some extent prevented her from arranging her personal life.
However, in 1997, Swank got married. Her husband was Chad Lowe. Their marriage did not last long at all – in 2006 filed for divorce.
Soon the actress told reporters that finding a decent man helped her sick father. He lived with her at that time.
This helped her to screen out unnecessary people and filter her environment. A lot of people would disappear as soon as they found out she was living with her father. And then she met Philip Schneider, with whom she is still married.
Two years ago they became parents – they had twins. True, the babies were born prematurely, but they are fine.
