Jason Momoa has officially confirmed that he’s back on the dating scene. After photos of his new partner appeared online, fans couldn’t resist comparing her to members of his family. Whilst some claimed that his ex-wife was more attractive, others expressed concern, noting that Momoa’s current girlfriend resembles his daughter.
Momoa was previously married to actress Lisa Bonet, best known for her role in ‘The Cosby Show’. They were considered a power couple in the world of show business, and their relationship began in 2005 after they were introduced by mutual friends.
Following their split, Momoa briefly dated Mexican singer and actress Eiza González, and their relationship ended in June 2022. Sources reveal that although they genuinely cared for one another, their differences made it difficult for them to stay together. Another source noted that despite their deep bond and efforts to keep their relationship private, they were at different stages in their lives.
González once praised her father, highlighting his influence on her career. “He encourages me to push my boundaries and ensures I continue to grow as an artist,” she said in an interview. Before achieving success in Hollywood, González worked as a waitress and hostess in New York.
Whilst studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, she recalled the lessons she had learnt from those early jobs. “I realised how important hard work and money are. Those experiences built up my resilience. Today, I can cope with 16-hour working days because I used to be a waitress.”
As for her relationship with Momoa, the couple kept it under wraps for a while. During Comic Con in Basingstoke, England, in May 2024, a fan asked Momoa if he was single. His reply? “I’m in a relationship,” he confirmed, adding that he was happy to keep his romance out of the public eye. At the time, he didn’t reveal who his partner was, but suggested that her identity would soon be revealed.
