Jennifer Garner, the 51-year-old American actress, producer and ex-wife of Ben Affleck, recently shared a series of childhood photos on Instagram in which she poses with her sisters.
Jennifer has two sisters – Melissa and Suzanne – and she is the ‘middle child’ of the family. The photographs show various stages of their childhood – from infancy through to their teenage years. The sisters grew up in West Virginia in a family where their father was a chemical engineer and their mother an English teacher.
They were brought up in a strict household where education and discipline played a key role. They regularly attended a Methodist church, and things such as make-up, dyeing their hair or having their ears pierced were strictly forbidden.
Unlike Jennifer, her sisters – Melissa and Suzanne – steer clear of the Hollywood spotlight, opting for a quiet, private life. Nevertheless, Jennifer remains close to them and they often meet up at family gatherings.
Recently, the actress surprised her fans by recreating one of her iconic looks from the 2004 film in which she played the lead role. In a video posted on Instagram, she re-enacted the scene in which her character gets ready for a big party.
