Demi Moore and Bruce Willis — one of the most prominent Hollywood couples of the 1990s

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis first met in 1987 on the set of the film Foul Play. At the time, Moore was living idyllically with actor Emilio Estevez, but later decided to end that relationship for a new one with Willis. Four months later, Bruce and Demi went to Las Vegas, booked a suite at the Golden Nugget hotel, and had an impromptu wedding.
They decided to take a break from Hollywood, red carpets, and award ceremonies, and nine months later, their first daughter, Rumer, was born.
Later, they left the crazy city of Los Angeles to settle on a ranch in Idaho for a year.
Around that time, the couple’s relationship began to heat up, and rumours of Willis’s infidelity began to spread in the media. The following years were increasingly chaotic, leading to the couple’s divorce in 2000 after 11 years of marriage.

At the time, the official reason given was the banal ‘we don’t see each other often enough due to our busy work schedules.’ However, Western journalists are convinced that this is not true.
Journalists from The Mirror decided that the answer to the question lay in an interview Bruce gave two years before the divorce. At that time, the actor spoke candidly about married life.
‘Let’s be honest. No woman will satisfy her husband’s natural desires as much as he needs,’ said the star of the film Die Hard. “At the same time, a man’s desires remain regardless of how many children he has. It’s foolish to think that you’ll meet someone who will be able to give you what you need in 10, 20, or 30 years. That’s a myth.”

Despite the sad ending, Bruce and Demi are successfully raising their three daughters, and they will forever remain one of Hollywood’s most beautiful couples in our memory. See what their style was like in the 1990s in our gallery.
