To help raise awareness about her condition she wanted to do something different and asked her mother to paint her bald head. “My mother’s always been an inspiring artist,” Babcock told A Plus. “As someone who always encourages me to be my true self and loves flowers, I knew my mother was the perfect person to paint my head.”
Below is Madison Babock, a girl who suffers from a disease known as Alopecia which causes her hair to fall out.
She decided to embrace her look and for her senior year photos asked her mum to paint her bald head.
She thought it would be great to do something different and that’s where her amazing idea came from.
She came up with the idea of painting flowers onto her head and asked her mum to do it.
She said that her mum had always been an inspiring artist and she knew her mum would be the perfect person to draw this beautiful artwork on her head. It was a risk but it came with its rewards.
Madison said: “It signified every single moment we’ve gone through with the process of high school”
She now has an entirely new perspective and outlook on life.
