Carrie Fisher had no patience for the real world’s version of Jabba the Hutt.
Last week, Fisher’s longtime friend, Heather Ross, called into Tucson radio station 94.9 MixFM to discuss the scandal surrounding producer Harvey Weinstein. During the conversation, Ross revealed that she too had been harassed by an unnamed Oscar-winning producer.
According to Ross’ account, she met the producer for what she believed to be a business dinner. After he picked Ross up in his car, the unnamed producer pulled over and held her down against the car seat. Ross managed to get out of the situation and relayed the story to some of her family and friends which included Fisher.
Being the badass that she was and a totally loyal friend, Fisher decided to take matters into her own hands.
«About two weeks later, [Fisher] sent me a message online and she said, ‘I just saw (blank) at Sony Studios. I knew he would probably be there, so I went to his office and personally delivered a Tiffany box wrapped with a white bow,'» shared Ross. «I asked her what was inside and she said, ‘It was a cow tongue from Jerry’s Famous Deli in Westwood with a note that said, ‘If you ever touch my darling Heather or any other woman again, the next delivery will be something of yours in a much smaller box!'»
You know Princess Leia would not leave you hanging, especially when it came to fending off predatory Hollywood producers.
